How to make a very powerful burning red laser for under $30. This video covers in detail on building a high powered laser module, but then it is up to your creativity to pick a housing for this module, as in a flashlight or something. Laser diodes are sensitive to heat and static, and can break for many reasons. Don't touch the bare pins of the laser diode before it is attached to a driver.
